It’s been one magical year since The Hole In Wand Leeds first opened its doors, welcoming witches, wizards, families and, magical adventurers to the heart of Leeds. To mark our first birthday, we’re filling September with special offers, magical celebrations and birthday surprises for visitors throughout the month.
Whether you’re joining us for a game of magical mini golf, enjoying a drink in The Wand and Tankard, or exploring the enchanting Magical Apothecary at The Potions Cauldron, there are plenty of reasons to make a visit this September.
We’re kicking off our birthday celebrations on Tuesday 1 September, and we’re giving the first 100 witches and wizards in the queue free entry to The Hole In Wand Leeds!
Arrive early, gather your fellow magical companions and help us celebrate one year of spellbinding mini golf in Leeds.
The first 100 people in the queue on 1 September will receive free entry.
The birthday magic continues from 2–4 September.
Each day, the first 100 visitors who quote “Happy Birthday” to our magical team can enjoy a game of The Hole In Wand Leeds for just £5 per person.
And there’s an extra treat included: your ticket also comes with a magical potion worth £3.49 to enjoy during your visit.
That means three days of magical mini golf, a potion and plenty of birthday fun for just £5.
Our celebrations are heading to The Wand and Tankard, where witches and wizards can raise a glass to our first year in Leeds.
On Saturday 12 September and Saturday 19 September, from 12pm–5pm, visitors who quote “Happy Birthday” can enjoy a second drink for just £1.
It’s the perfect excuse to round up your magical crew, play a few holes and settle in for a birthday drink afterwards.
The birthday magic isn’t stopping at mini golf.
Every Sunday throughout September, visitors who quote “Happy Birthday” can receive 10% off their purchases in our Magical Apothecary at The Potions Cauldron.
Whether you’re looking for a magical souvenir, a curious gift or something enchanting to take home, Sunday is the perfect day to explore the Apothecary.

Family Day at The Wand And Tankard:
Our Family day returns on Saturday 29th August from 12:00 - 17:00. There is no need to book just simply show up and enjoy family friendly activities including games, crafting, and a chance to meet our gargoyle Grobblenook. It's the best way for a family to spend their Saturday and there will even be some magical discounts on drinks too!
Comedy Night at The Wand And Tankard:
Join us for our Comedy Night, where you can expect laughs, cackles and maybe even some tears. This event takes place on Saturday 5th of September from 19:00 - 21:00. No need to book just show up! There will be 3 comedians on show too, providing you with an evening of laughter while we provide magical drinks (for a cheap price!)
